International Consultation Policy
Ramyard Law Chambers provides legal consultations and advisory services to overseas clients in respect of matters arising under Sri Lankan law
International consultations are conducted by M. Shihar Hassan, Attorney-at-Law (Sri Lanka), in his capacity as International Legal Consultant & Advisory Counsel (based outside Sri Lanka).
SCOPE OF CONSULTATIONS
International consultations may include:
Preliminary legal assessment
Explanation of applicable Sri Lankan law
Strategic case review
Documentation guidance and drafting support
Coordination with the Chambers’ litigation counsel
LIMITATIONS
All court appearances, filings, and litigation proceedings within Sri Lanka are conducted exclusively by the Principal Litigation Counsel and the Colombo legal team.
MODE OF CONSULTATION
Consultations may be conducted via scheduled video conference or written correspondence, subject to prior appointment.
NOTICE
International consultations are advisory in nature and subject to Sri Lankan law and applicable professional standards.
